Can you believe that Halloween is just a few weeks away? If it’s your favorite holiday like mine, then you’re probably looking for as many ways to celebrate before spooky season comes to an end. I’ve got 4 unique activities that all Halloween lovers will enjoy. Whether it’s a night out playing Halloween-themed carnival games or staying home and watching movies, there’s an activity here for everyone.
1) Murder Mystery Dinner Enjoy an evening filled with delicious food, drinks, and murder! If you’re a fan of the game Clue and love solving mysteries, then you must experience a Murder Mystery Dinner. Evidence and clues will appear throughout the night and it’s up to you to solve the case. Murder Mystery Dinners can range anywhere from $35 to $95 CAD+ per person.
2) True Crime Tours Bundle up for an evening stroll through the neighborhood filled with spinetingling stories about your city’s dark past. Whether they’re paranormal, true crime, or myths and legends, you’ll be sure to learn more about the history of place you call home. These tours typically last for an hour and cost around $20 CAD+ per person.
3) Halloween Attractions If you really want to get into the Halloween spirit, see what Halloween attractions are happening in your neighborhood. A few of my personal favorites include haunted houses, Halloween themed carnival games, and haunted corn mazes. These events are usually $35 CAD+ per person. You’ll be sure to find one the whole family can enjoy, or you can opt for something scarier with 18+ events.
4) Movie Marathon Who doesn’t love a scary movie night? Whether you’d like to host one at home or attend one at your local theatre, they’re a must for Halloween! Theatres typically play the classics and it’s a great way to experience your favorite films on the big screen again. Ohhh what- True Crime tours sounds beyond amazing!! Sadly, I don’t think we have anything like that in our small town 😅 really a bummer, though there is some kind of ghost tour within travelling distance (don’t remember where however.. rofl)
It has been quite some years that we’ve been in a haunted house- my vet hospital used to do one for raising funds for the spca! Sadly covid happened and yeah.. 😐
