Do you have a list of activities that you’re excited for this spring? Are there any spring activities you’d like to revisit or try for the first time? If not, this is your sign to create a list and get inspired for the warmer days ahead. Many of us have had our plans halted due to the pandemic, but thankfully there are many activities we can partake in safely.
After a long, cold, and dark winter, we graciously welcome brighter and warmer days with open arms. The activities on my spring bucket list are heavily inspired by nature for this reason. Who can say no to visiting a national park, outdoor picnic, or stargazing? I can’t! Here are 6 outdoor activities I’m looking forward to this spring.
1) Visit a National Park I’m looking forward to spending my spring/summer surrounded by nature, and what’s a better way to admire nature’s beauty than visiting a national park? There are so many parks that I’d love to visit both in Canada and the United States. Some parks in Canada include Banff, Jasper, and Dinosaur Provincial Park. And for the United States, I’d love to visit Yosemite, Grand Canyon, and Joshua Tree.
2) Plan Summer Trip As restrictions start to ease, I’m hoping to get a chance to travel this summer. I have a few places in mind and I’m looking forward to the planning and researching process. If you’re curious about my trip planning process, read all about it here.
3) Have an Outdoor Picnic/BBQ There are several public parks in my city that have picnic sites with a firepit. You can even book a table and firepit in advance! Nothing’s more relaxing than enjoying the beautiful weather, good company, and cozying up to a warm fire and smores at the end of a long day.

4) Go Stargazing Stargazing offers such a calming and soothing effect. It’s a beautiful way to connect with nature and the world around us. Lately I’ve been fascinated with astronomy and stargazing is a great way to learn more about these celestial bodies.
5) Visit a Tulip Farm It’s tulip season! There are so many beautiful videos and photos online of these tulip farms in Canada and the U.S. and I’ve made it my mission to visit one. I’m in awe of how stunning these farms looks on photos and can’t even imagine the beauty of it in person.
6) Try Something New I’ve been inspired to try new things whenever possible. Whether it’s a new restaurant, hobby, or experience, stepping out of your comfort zone is great for personal growth. Two activities that I’d like to try this spring/summer include camping and trail riding.

Stargazing sounds fantastic! It saddens me that I can’t really see the stars in Toronto and makes me miss home where you see billions of them almost every night. Tulips are my fav flower and I will surely look into visiting a farm this summer. Great list!
