Golden is everything that I admire about poetry. The words are simple, flow effortlessly, and deeply connects with the reader. Each piece is laced with descriptions of the Sun and are accompanied by beautiful imagery to set the tone. As mentioned previously, this book is divided into four parts. I usually find myself resonating to different sections in poetry, but I truly enjoyed pieces from each section.
If you’re looking for a light and uplifting read, one that will leave you cheerful, you have to pick up Golden. I’m excited to pick up Wilder’s Nocturnal next. I don’t read that much poetry nowadays but this one sounds lighter and happier than most. It sounds perfect for reading with a hot cup of tea while sitting on the porch at sunset (or rise). I’ll have to check it out.

I haven’t heard of this before. I remember doing some poetry at school, I do read a couple of bloggers who shared poems but it isn’t my go to. I like that you said they are simple and flow well. I think that is something that would work for me. Thank you for sharing.
