1) Printables Etsy offers a wide variety of printable masks such as animals, dragons, witches, and even some of your favorite characters from Disney. The convenience of printables and digital downloads allows you to print them straight from home or from your office. They can be accessed instantly, so if you have a colored printer and thick paper/cardstock, you’re good to go! Some stores even offer black and white masks, so you, your family, and your friends can spend time together coloring them in.
2) Face Paint Get creative this Halloween with some face paint, and no, you don’t need to be a pro. With face paint costumes as simple as being a cat, a scarecrow, or a butterfly, to more advanced costumes such as a skeleton, pop art, and clowns, you’ll be sure to find something to suit your skill level. It’s much easier when you’re using the right tools. If you mess up, simply wipe it off and start again. Have fun with it!
3) The Undead Do you have an old white t-shirt/dress, some black eyeshadow, red food colouring, cocoa mix, scissors, and some corn syrup laying around? If so, you’ve got yourself a costume. Have fun staining and shredding your old white t-shirt/dress and create a realistically aged look using these household items. Finish off the look with a splatter of fake blood. If you need some recipe suggestions, The Spruce Crafts has 8 easy fake blood recipes to choose from.
Are you dressing up this Halloween? If so, what’s your costume? Do you have any easy DIY costumes to add? (And don’t say a white sheet with holes haha!) I’d love to hear your thoughts! Wishing you all a safe and spook-tacular Halloween weekend! For more holiday posts, visit my tag here.
