We recently had the opportunity to catch up with CanvasRebel Magazine! They are an online space that spotlights small business owners, artists, and creatives to share their stories and insights on a variety of topics from leadership, mission, strategy, and more.
My first interview with CanvasRebel was in June 2023. I had the chance to introduce myself, Her Digital Coffee, and share my personal story on the topic of creative pursuits. This year, I had the opportunity to talk about what keeps me inspired on this journey, challenging aspects, and qualities I find that contribute to the longevity of artistic endeavors and creative projects.
Every single obstacle or challenge that I faced taught me how to move forward with confidence.

My journey continues to be incredibly rewarding, constantly offering opportunities for growth and new ways to step outside my comfort zone. I believe in taking risks—doing something different and facing your fears—because once you experience the endless possibilities outside of that, you won’t want to go back.
I hope my experiences inspire others to pursue their passions, regardless of what they may be. With small steps and an openness to learning, anyone can achieve their dreams and go beyond what they ever thought possible. Congratulations ! How wonderful that you had the opportunity twice to share you story in the magazine. One of my dreams was to write and publish a cookbook. I finished it at age 70 during Covid! and it was published shortly after.
