Her Digital Coffee officially turns one! It feels as though it were yesterday that I was waiting for the website to launch. It’s been such an incredible journey thus far and I’ve learned so much about website building, social engagement, and about myself as well.
To celebrate HDC turning one, I wanted to create a post that allowed my readers to send in questions from Instagram. Before we start, I’d like to send a heartfelt thank you to my supportive audience. This experience has been truly magical. I’ve pushed myself beyond my comfort zone in creating something that I didn’t think was ever possible and it continues to be a rewarding experience because of you.

What I love most about writing/blogging is the creative aspect! You’re able to create a space online and dedicate your time and energy to diving into things that you’re passionate about. When you share your passion, expertise, experiences, etc., it opens new doors to connect with others around the world.
What made you want to start blogging?

Since I was young, I’ve always had a love for magazines. I looked forward to reading new articles about an array of topics each month. I was so inspired by fashion, beauty, and lifestyle topics in general that I decided in high school I would create my own space online to do something similar! Since then, it’s taken on a life of its own in the best way possible.

One of my favorite blog posts is titled How to Prepare Your Recyclables in 3 Easy Steps. It’s a simple guide to recycling and encourages us to take a closer look at our habits. I love writing about sustainability and sharing my experience and finds along the way. Sometimes it can be hard knowing where to start, especially with lifestyle changes, but it’s always fun breaking things down so it’s less intimidating and more approachable for everyone.
