The Leaping Hare Wellness Almanac is filled with wonderful ideas. If I could sum this book up in one word, it would be hygge. The stunning visuals accompanied by the uplifting seasonal affirmations feels like a warm embrace. Besides offering different mindful exercises, this book also contains meditation prompts, recipes for baking, crafting, and more.
This book has been a wonderful addition to my morning routine. One mindful exercise that I specifically enjoyed was “Find Joy in Gratitude.” This exercise consisted of creating a keepsake box that you can fill with items that you’re grateful for. This can include pictures, tickets, short stories, and more. When you direct your focus to the things that you’re grateful for, you stop focusing on the things you lack.
