I had the pleasure of trying Lancôme’s new Rénergie H.C.F. Triple Serum. As someone who has dry skin, having a hydrating skincare routine especially in the winter is crucial. This triple serum contains hyaluronic acid for hydration, C+Niacinamide for reducing dark spots and brightening the skin, and ferulic acid that protects against skin aging. If it sounds like something you’d like to try, you can save some money with Sephora’s Saving Event.

My Thoughts

This isn’t like any serum I’ve tried before. The nozzle has 3 chambers, which keeps each ingredient separate from one another until you pump it out. It has a hydrating and slightly thicker consistency than most serums, yet it didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy, sticky, or heavy. I was surprised when I notice a huge improvement on my skin tone and texture within several days.

I’ve used Lancôme’s Rénergie line in the past, but I stopped because the fragrance was too overpowering. I’m pleased to announce that Lancôme has made some changes to this specific line, because this new formula has a very light and clean scent that I really enjoy. After using this for six weeks, I’m happy to say that my skin hasn’t had any allergic reactions or sudden breakouts from this hydrating serum. 

Critiques

• This product is priced at $189.00 CAD. I used to invest in luxury skincare but found that certain drugstore brands worked much better for my skin type. Since then, it’s been difficult making big purchases on skincare like I used to. While I do love this product, I’ll be taking advantage Sephora’s Saving Events when restocking.

• The packaging is huge. There are no travel-friendly sizes available for purchase. I spoke with a representative for Lancôme and they advised against pumping the product into a separate container for travel. For the price of this product, there should be an easier way to travel with this serum.

Conclusion

Besides those several details, this serum has a found a permanent spot in my winter skincare routine.
