Everyday Mantras is the perfect book to keep on your bedside table. It’s one that you may refer to each morning and night. Since each mantra is a paragraph long, it’s just enough to get you thinking, but not too long that it goes on and on. You can even pick a random page for inspiration it doesn’t have to be the exact month/day you’re in. I’d like to share a short snippet of the mantra for today, February 1st. It is titled “Create calm.”
You do not have to wait for a calm moment to chase a sense of peace in your life. Life is rarely easy, and it rarely offers calm moments that you have not carved out with intention and deliberation. Hold close the moments that soothe you, and look for ways to cultivate that calm on demand. It’s a state of mind and an active practice; it will not arrive wrapped as a gift dropped into your lap.

Everyday Mantras begins with January and there are some darker colors to represent winter, then transitions into beautiful pastels for spring, and vibrant colors for summer.
