Do you use positive and empowering affirmations? Affirmations are influential statements that can be repeated on a regular basis to encourage positive thinking and self-empowerment. This healthy practice exists to help us gain a new perspective through our way of thinking. Our thoughts are incredibly powerful and they have the ability to shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. I’ve been using affirmations consistently for the last year and have noticed a huge difference in the way I approach life. I feel more centred, calm, and confident in my choices.
We all practice affirmations on a daily basis, whether we’re aware of it or not. These affirmations can be both positive and negative. When we think about something for a long time, it eventually starts to become our reality. For example if you repeat statements such as “I’m so clumsy” or “I’m always late” you’ll start to believe them to be true. Rather than sticking to the statement of being clumsy, try replacing that statement with “I vow to slow down, take my time, and do things with care today.” Start practicing positive affirmations to unlock your true potential. Here are 10 positive and empowering affirmations you can use right now.
1) I am worthy and deserving of love and respect.
2) I am confident in myself and my abilities to handle difficult situations.
3) I have the power to create and live the life that I desire.
You become what you digest into your spirit. Whatever you think about, focus on, read about, talk about, you’re going to attract more of into your life.

As you can see, our words can change the narrative in just a matter of seconds. As Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” I hope this post inspires you to incorporate positive affirmations in your routine. Do you use affirmations? If so, what’s your favorite one? Are there any on this list that you’d like to start practicing? I’d love to hear your thoughts. For more posts relating to wellness, visit my tag here.

I absolutely LOVE these affirmations! For years, saying things like this aloud was really strange to me. It just didn’t feel natural. Since I began practicing yoga on a daily basis, I’ve learned to set more intentions for myself and say more affirmations out loud. I usually say things like “I am strong” while working on a harder pose. Giving myself that encouragement, rather than getting frustrated with myself if things feel tough – it’s been a game changer!
I completely agree! I didn’t quite understand affirmations at first, but after practicing it for a while I noticed a huge difference and change in mindset. I love that you use affirmations while doing yoga! I can see why it would give you an extra boost of confidence and motivation to push through. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts Stephanie!
