We are just a few weeks from welcoming a new season and you know what that means… Trying new beauty products! It’s time to replace the bright colors of summer with the beautiful bold and warm shades of fall. I recently went through my makeup collection and disposed of a lot of old products. Since then, I’ve been specifically looking for new eye and lip additions.
I’m so excited to share my takes on these new products that I’ve tried this month. If any of these products sound wonderful to you, despite whether I think they’re worth it or not, I encourage you to give them a try! What works well for me, may not work well for you and vice versa. Here are 5 beauty finds under $30. Let’s find out if they’re worth it!
Achieve jumbo liner looks with our vegan and waterproof formula featuring a felt-tip applicator for intense pigment for up to 24-hour wear! Apply and let dry for smudge, transfer, and fade resistant impact.
I have been a huge fan of NYX for years so needless to say their 2-in-1 liner did not disappoint. It’s super pigmented, easy to use, and made using liquid liner and applying lashes a breeze. I’ve also worn this liner without lashes and didn’t find it sticky or uncomfortable at all. Worth it? Yes!
Created for every lash type, this all-in-one mascara pairs a weightless, easy-to-build formula with a universal eye-hugging brush to lift, lengthen, curl, and volumize every lash from every angle.
I love this mascara! The design is minimal and the formula is great. The wand is the perfect size, holds the right amount of product, and effective at separating the lashes. This mascara did not flake or smudge throughout the entire day. I also love the price point. Typically, mascaras sold in Sephora are usually $35 and up. This mascara is priced at $26! Worth it? Yes!
Get youthful looking, plumped lashes with Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara for thicker, longer, and stronger looking lashes in 4 weeks. Infused with Hyaluronic Complex and Bamboo Serum, the formula instantly plumps and volumizes lashes.
The ingredients and benefits described in this product are wonderful, but sadly this is a pass for me. This mascara didn’t lengthen my lashes, it actually weighed them down. I decided to check the reviews and the users that felt the same recommended to use it as a primer because of the ingredients in this mascara. Rather than throwing it away, I’ve been using this tip and have been really impressed by the long wear. Worth it? No.
Meet Super Stay Vinyl Ink Longwear Liquid Lipcolor for budge-resistant vinyl color and up to 16-hour wear. This longwear lipstick’s Color Lock formula defies smudging and transfer and provides an instant shine finish. Shake before applying on clean, dry lips.
I love this liquid lipstick by Maybelline. I received the shade ‘Lippy’ it’s a burgundy red which is perfect for fall. The lightweight yet pigmented formula glides on smoothly and provides all day wear with no transfer. It also smells like a vanilla cupcake! Worth it? Yes!
Color Sensational Ultimatte slim lipstick delivers more intense color with an extreme matte finish and a comfortable, lightweight feel.
This is another lip product by Maybelline that gets a thumbs up from me. The slim packaging makes it easy to carry and takes up virtually no space. The formula is so smooth and turns powder like once it’s applied. It’s so pigmented and gives a beautiful matte finish. I chose the shade ‘More Scarlett’ thinking it would be a bright red, but it turned out to be more of a Cheeto shade, which I’m not a fan of but I’m looking forward to trying their other colors. Worth it? Yes!
