Are you ready to approach self-care in a more natural and holistic way? Over the last few years, there’s been a major shift in the way that we shop and brands have noticed it too. We are saying “no” to products filled with ingredients that we can’t pronounce and we’re opting for natural and healthier alternatives that benefits us and the planet.

I discovered the power of aromatherapy back in 2012. I purchased my first essential oil from Saje Wellness and I’ve been on this journey of natural healing since. What sets this Canadian company apart is their commitment to clean ingredients and responsible packaging. These plant-based, cruelty-free, and vegan options offer a natural and holistic approach to self-care, providing countless benefits for both the mind and body.
How to Use the Most Versatile Essential Oils
1) Peppermint The invigorating scent of peppermint provides relief from headaches and helps improve focus and concentration. Additionally, it works wonders for soothing muscle aches and minor skin irritations. Since peppermint is such a great multitasking essential oil, it’s one that I always have with me in my purse and on my travels.
How I use it… I apply Peppermint Halo around my hairline, temples, and behind my neck whenever I have a headache, migraine, or muscle tension from stress. This is the only peppermint oil I swear by, as it’s concentrated enough to leave a cooling sensation on your skin.
2) Tea Tree If you’re looking for an essential oil with powerful antimicrobial properties, look no further. Tea tree oil is an excellent choice for addressing allergies, skin irritations, as well as soothing insect bites. Its antibacterial and anti fungal properties makes it the perfect essential oil for cleaning as well.
How I use it… I apply a few drops of Tea Tree Oil to a carrier oil, such as jojoba, coconut, or sweet almond to dilute it. I then apply it on skin irritations such as acne spots or insect bites. It’s a stronger scent, but boy does it work!

3) Orange The energizing scent of citrus never fails to uplift my spirits. It’s the perfect choice for refreshing the air in your home and surroundings with its sweet and delightful aroma. Orange along with tea tree are great essential oils for creating your at home natural cleaning agents.
How I use it… I apply 5-6 drops of Orange Oil into my diffuser and allow the uplifting scent to fill the room. It always improves my focus and gives me energy whenever I’m feeling tired or groggy.
4) Lavender This heavenly-scented oil is renowned for its calming properties. It’s perfect for relaxation and relieving stress and anxiety. Whether used in a diffuser, added to bathwater, or body lotion, lavender oil creates a serene atmosphere that promotes tranquility and restful sleep.
How I use it… Since lavender is such a versatile essential oil, using it in the form of a spray makes it easy to enjoy anywhere. I love using Lavender Mist as a body, room, and pillow spray. It’s also great to use before and after meditation.
I hope you enjoyed my picks of versatile essential oils that are not only a staple in my collection but have become an integral part of my daily life.
