Welcome to The Book Snob Book Tag. I found this gem on Read And Review It’s blog and wanted to participate! The creator of this tag is Tia and All The Books and linked is her YouTube channel! If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, please feel free to join in on the fun!
1) Adaptation Snob: Do you always read the book before watching the film/TV show? Not always. It’s not a huge deal to me whether or not I’ve read the book beforehand. I guess it just depends on the movie/show.
2) Format Snob: You can only choose 1 format in which to read books for the rest of your life. Which one do you choose: physical books, eBooks, or audiobooks? 80% of the books I read are eBooks, but if I had to choose it would be physical books. If I end up enjoying an eBook, I’ll purchase the physical book to add to my collection. There’s something so special about carrying a physical book and not worrying about if your tablet is charged or getting distracted by the apps.
3) Ship Snob: Would you date or marry a non-reader? Of course. I find that a lot of non-readers haven’t found the right genre or story to get them into reading. I’d hope they’d be open to reading, but if not it’s not a huge deal!
4) Genre Snob: You have to ditch one genre – never to be read again for the rest of your life. Which one do you ditch? Sci-fi. I enjoy watching it much more than I do reading it!
5) Uber Genre Snob: You can only choose to read from one genre for the rest of your life. Which genre do you choose? Horror. It’s been my favorite genre since I was young. I still love it to this day, so I’d have no problem reading it for the rest of my life.
6) Community Snob: Which genre do you think receives the most snobbery from the bookish community? I’m not sure. I’ve seen nothing but love and positivity for all genres and I’m very thankful for that. If something isn’t your cup of tea, that’s okay. There’s a huge community out there filled with individuals who enjoy similar things!
7) Snobbery Recipient: Have you ever been snubbed for something that you have been reading or for reading in general? Probably, but I can’t think of anything in particular. We each have our own interests and if something doesn’t speak to you, you don’t have to read it! Criticizing or snubbing someone for reading in general is not helpful in anyway. I’m thankful for this supportive community, as we encourage and lift each other up. If someone’s sharing a review in a genre we don’t typically read, we still show respect, love, and support!
Thank you once again to Read It And Review It for introducing me to this awesome tag! Be sure to visit her post here! I’d love to invite anyone else who is interested to join. If there’s only one question I’d love to hear from my readers, it’s #5! What is one genre you’d read for the rest of your life? Let me know in the comments!

This is such a fun tag. I agree with you about the movie/book tag. I can go either way, watch the movie then read the book, or read the book and then watch the movie.
Her Digital Coffee says
Yes, both are fun experiences whether you’ve watched the film first and read the book after or vice versa! Thank you for reading Wendy!

Ooh I loved reading your answers! I definitely agree with what you said about holding a physical book, it does just feel so special. I don’t usually read horror but I want to get into it this year, do you have any recommendations for a good starting point? Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a lovely week x

I recommend browsing the horror section, whether online or in stores, and find what speaks to you! I tend to go for the paranormal and slasher stories. I recommend Grady Hendrix and Stephen King’s works if you’re into that as well! I can’t wait to see what you find! Thank you for reading Ceri!

Oooh interesting answers!
As much as I love paperbacks, I love the versatility of ebooks, especially when I can turn on text-to-voice or switch to the audiobook.
I love horror, but if I had to chose just one genre it’d have to be romance. There’s just so much scope in the genre.
