Fall Bucket List Book Tag

Light a Scented Candle
a book that is light hearted
What I Learned from The Trees is a collection of poems by L.E. Bowman. It’s the perfect book for fall, as each piece contains a blend of humanity and nature. These poems remind us to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us each day, along with nurturing our relationships with ourselves, others, and with nature.
Drink Pumpkin Spiced Lattes
a book that has a lot of hype
Any book by Stephen King is bound to get a lot of hype, which is exactly why so many are talking about Fairy Tale. Early on in the pandemic King asked himself, “What could you write that would make you happy?” This question lead him to dive into the depths of his imagination and create a world of magic. It’s a tale of good versus evil and we’re ready for the ride!
Go Apple Picking
a book that has fun friendships
The friendship between Abby and Gretchen in My Best Friend’s Exorcism was heartwarming. Despite the story being about an exorcism, there were a lot of fun moments in this book. Grady Hendrix did a wonderful job establishing the relationship between these two characters, especially describing how they’d first met. There’s a nostalgic element to his writing that I think many of us can relate to when it comes to childhood friendships. He had you rooting for them until the end. Read my full review here.

Wear a Cozy Sweater
a book that warms your heart
Chapter and Curse is a cozy mystery that will warm your heart. Elizabeth Penney did a wonderful job capturing the beauty and charm of one of the oldest bookshops in Cambridge, England along with its surroundings. With a beautiful setting, likeable characters, and a whodunit mystery at hand, I’m certain genre lovers will love this story. Read my full review here.
Bake Cinnamon Rolls
a character who’s a talented chef
The Adventurous Eaters Club is a book that encourages families to get creative in the kitchen. Written by actor and philanthropist, Misha Collins, and journalist and historian, Vicki Collins, they share hundreds of fun recipes that they’ve created with their children to encourage them to eat healthy, all while developing a relationship with real foods. Say goodbye to processed foods and hello to fresh fruits and vegetables that the entire family can enjoy.
Jump Into a Pile of Leaves
a book that made you jump for joy
The Lost Village is the latest novel that I’ve added to my TBR list for fall. It’s described as The Blair Witch Project meets Midsommar. The story follows a documentary filmmaker, Alice, as she visits “The Lost Village” to uncover the truth behind the residents that vanished in 1959. Alice and her crew soon discover that they’re not alone. As a horror and thriller lover, I can’t wait to start reading this one.
I’m Tagging…

ooo some great fall reads on here! Stephen king is hit or miss for me, so I’ll definitely check out fairytale but I’m not going in with crazy expectations. Have you ever read any Dean Koontz? He’s also a bit hit or miss but Phantoms is BRILLIANT and reminds me of SK 🙂
