Have you ever walked into a drugstore aisle that’s lined with anti-aging skincare products and think to yourself, “Where do I even start?” It can be difficult deciding which product will be right for you. What’s a water-cream? Why do I need Vitamin C? I’m here to share my honest opinion while testing L’Oréal’s new anti-aging skincare products.

L’Oréal has an extensive Revitalift line and their two newest editions include a Water Cream Moisturizer and a Vitamin C, E, and Salicylic Acid serum. With Spring coming up, these are two great products to include in your skincare routine to get that healthy glowing skin. These two are easy and simple additions to include in your skincare routine, just remember to always apply SPF in the mornings!
1) Revitalift Hyaluronic Acid + Ceramides Cream ★★★★★
Our new lightweight face moisturizer deeply hydrates and visibly replumps all types of fine lines and locks in moisture. Over time, skin looks brighter, healthier, and younger. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive. Dermatologist tested.
This is my first time using a water-based cream and I am very impressed. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, and visibly pumps and locks in moisture. This cream is also fragrance-free, which makes it suitable for those with sensitive skin, or for those who are sensitive to smells.
I typically prefer thicker creams over a water or gel formula, but I found this hydrated my skin better than what I’ve been using. I’m glad I had the opportunity to give this a try because it’s effectively addressing all of my skincare concerns. If your current cream isn’t hydrating enough, I definitely recommend trying a water-based formula.
Of all the skincare products that I’ve tried and reviewed so far, this has got to be my favorite one yet. I’ve been using this cream for 2 weeks now and I haven’t had any issues with breaking out or itchiness, which are two prime factors that usually occur when I try new products. It goes to show that you can find good quality products without spending a fortune.
2) Revitalift Vitamin C, E, and Salicylic Acid Serum ★★★
Discover our new Vitamin C Serum. A brightening face serum formulated with top derm-recommended ingredients. For 2x brighter skin and 2x less visible pores. This serum is non-comedogenic, paraben free, dye free, and mineral oil free.
I love the blend of Vitamin C, E, and salicylic acid in a serum. I noticed a huge improvement in my skin in terms of radiance, texture, and pore size. A little bit goes a long way, and I found a single drop was more than enough for each application.
The only downside to this serum is the strong fragrance. Typically, when I try skincare products that contain fragrance, it’s not as noticeable a few minutes after application. However, that wasn’t the case with this serum.
After using this product for 2 weeks, and only using a very small drop, I found the fragrance more tolerable. I hope that L’Oréal considers reformulating or offering an option without fragrance because other than that, it’s a great serum.
Conclusion
I am very impressed by L’Oréal’s line of skincare products. They’re effective, conveniently located online and in drugstores, and fairly priced. I am thrilled that I’ve found a new moisturizer that’s effective for dry skin, especially during the winter months. I think it’s wonderful that they’ve created a lightweight and fragrance-free moisturizer that’s suitable for all skin types.
Although the serum was a miss for me, I still think it would be a great product for those who don’t mind fragrances. The blend of ingredients has wonderful anti-aging properties, and I noticed a difference right away. If you’re looking for new skincare products, I would recommend giving these products a try. Have you tried any L’Oréal products? Do you have any go-to products for dry skin? I’d love to hear your suggestions.
